Marian Kacerovsky received his Medical Degree at the Charles University in Prague,Faculty of Medicine Pilsen, Czech Republic in 1996. He has specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology, particularly in Fetal and Maternal Medicine. He got his Ph.D. at the Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Medicine Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic in 2012. He became Professor at the Charles University in 2020.
Since 2008 his research group has been one of the leading groups in Europe dealing with intra-amniotic infection related and inflammatory complication in women with preterm prelabor rupture of membranes. His research group has a very close mutual collaboration with the research groups from Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg (professor Bo Jacobsson), Sweden and University of Texas, Medical
Branch in Galveston (professor Ramkumar Menon). So far, he has published more than 180 original papers in peer-reviewed international journals and has actively participated in more than 50 international scientific conferences.
